Estima will have a 2.4 liter 2AZ-FE four cylinder (170PS and 224Nm) mated onto a Super CVT-I transmission with a consumption rating of 11.4km/L. Chassis wise, Toyota has tweaked it a little to improve handling by adding on front performance damper to reduce vibrations while driving.
2016 Toyota Estima Aeras Premium
Toyota Japan has finally unveiled the much awaited refreshed 2016 Toyota Estima. The aggressively designed decade-old Estima model has a more youthful and streamlined look. The Estima features a much sportier and aggressive front bumper following the current Toyota theme with a trapezoidal blacked-out grille with two LED DRLs on its side, slimmer chrome piece above it with the Estima logo linking up the two slimmer and sleeker LED headlamps. On the side, the new Estima sports a flowing design with new side skirt and alloy wheels while the back sports a reshaped bumper and with new LED rear combination tail lights and an “aero stablizer” fin. the 2016 Estima comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense C package which includes the Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departuer Alert (LDA), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Pedestrian Detection (PD) and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC). The interior of the Estima is revamped slightly although it retains pretty much a similar layout as its predecessor. The new interior now has a separate center piece, feature a new three-spoke multi function steering wheel, reshaped air-cond vents, and touch controls air-cond switches with premium trims and upholstery. There are also a variety of seating options available for the Estima and it even support the disabled access.
